I attended this English course for one year. I was placed in an upper-intermediate group after an entrance interview. The focus was mainly on communication, and we were given written homework on various topics.
I studied here in 2013-2014. I remember once speaking about the Hungarian mountaineer Zsolt Erőss as an international news topic. Sadly, he died on Kangchenjunga and was declared missing on May 21, 2013.
Péter Kiss was the other mountaineer, Zsolt’s climbing partner; together they conquered several peaks.Péter Kiss slipped, and his body was seen and photographed in the early morning hours of May 21 near Camp 4. Zsolt Erőss’s body was spotted in the spring of 2014 on the ramp at approximately 8,100 meters, and his identity was confirmed.
